Mark Zuckerberg was the highest-paid CEO in North America last year at $2.28 billion


Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was the highest paid chief executive officer of any North American company in 2012. The social network boss received $2.28 billion in compensation last year with nearly all of his yearly earnings coming as a result of exercising share options when the company went public.

(Reuters) - Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba Group Holding Ltd has decided not to list its shares in Hong Kong, but has not yet committed to listing on any other exchange, including the New York Stock Exchange, CEO Jonathan Lu told Reuters on Thursday.

DreamWorks Animation chief offered $75M to put additional Breaking Bad episodes online


Roughly six weeks ago, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffery Katzenberg offered to finance three additional episodes of Breaking Bad for $25 million apiece. That would have resulted in a nice profit for those involved with the show as the average episode last season only cost about $3.5 million to create. Simply put, they would have made more profit from these three episodes than all five years of the show combined.

(Reuters) - Hewlett Packard Co Chief Executive Meg Whitman expects revenue to stabilize in 2014 with "pockets of growth" before the business accelerates again in 2015, sending the stock up as much as 9.5 percent on Wednesday.

Comcast has come a long way since its start as a small town cable system in Tupelo, Mississippi. The company has a higher market value and earns more revenue each year than News Corp., Time Warner and Disney but CEO Brian Roberts isn’t looking to rest on his laurels any time soon.
