(Reuters) - Chinese computer maker Lenovo, which has signed a non-disclosure deal to examine BlackBerry's books, faces regulatory obstacles if it bids for all of the company and will likely pursue just parts, a source familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

Lenovo tops PC makers, industry sales decline in quarter

(Reuters) - Lenovo Group held on to its position as the world's No. 1 personal computer maker in the latest quarter despite a drastic dip in its core Chinese market, according to figures published by tech research firm Gartner on Wednesday.

Lenovo updates Thinkpad X1 Carbon with touch screen and Windows 8

                                  
Lenovo has announced a touch-enabled version of its Thinkpad X1 Carbon ultrabook. Originally released in August 2012, the refreshed model is much the same as its predecessor, but should provide business laptop users with an optimal experience on Microsoft's new finger-friendly Windows 8 operating system thanks to a 10-finger, 14-inch HD+ touch display running at a 1600×900 pixel resolution.

Lenovo Group's parent plans China IPO as early as 2014: report

(Reuters) - Legend Holdings, the parent company of personal computer maker Lenovo Group, plans to list in China's A-share market sometime between 2014 and 2016, China Business News quoted the firm's chairman as saying.
