LG beats Samsung to the punch with their 55-inch OLED TV

                    
LG was able to beat Samsung to the punch with regards to launching a 55-inch OLED TV. The technology isn’t new by any stretch of the imagination but thus far it has proven difficult to mass produce large OLED displays. But even with the milestone behind them, there’s no clear road to success with OLED sets as another technology looks to be the next big thing in home entertainment.

Sharp unveils $31,400, 60-inch UHD TV, 85-inchers on the way

                       
Boasting an "Ultra HD" resolution of 3840x2160, the 60-inch ICC Purios LC-60HQ10 will certainly turn heads -- but so will the price tag. Weighing in at a hefty $2,625,000 Yen (or about $31,400), it's obvious Sharp's latest UHD (ultra high-defintion) offering isn't intended for your average consumer. It appears TV-maker is counting on the ICC Purios being outside the reach of most mortals though, as the television will be made-to-order only.

Sharp unveils 4K 32-inch IGZO LCD monitor, yours for just $5,500

                          
Sharp has unveiled a new monitor powered by their ultra-thin IGZO technology that delivers an incredibly high resolution in a very sleek looking package. The professional-grade 32-inch (when measured diagonally, of course) PN-K321 display features a 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 but you’ll need some pretty deep pockets if you want to bring one home (or, to the office).
