Titanfall launches March 11th on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360


Titanfall was one of the most well received titles at E3 2013 when it was unveiled during Microsoft's keynote, with many looking forward to what it will bring to the next-generation of multiplayer gaming. Yesterday, EA and developer Respawn Entertainment revealed the game will launch in North America on March 11th, 2014, and Europe on March 13th, 2014.

Microsoft gives Xbox Live users free month following outage

Microsoft is offering a free month of Xbox Live to subscribers affected by the company's Xbox Live and Cloud Saved Games outage over the weekend. XBL general manager Alex Garden says the free one-month extension will be applied automatically to affected accounts, so there's no need to file a claim or otherwise contact support.

Microsoft announces plans to open six new retail stores in 2013

Microsoft is planning to open six new retail stores in 2013 in addition to the 40 or so physical locations already spread across the country. It’s all part of an ongoing plan to transform Microsoft from a software tycoon into a brand that’s recognizable across several markets and to get more in touch with those that are responsible for their success: everyday consumers.

Diablo III successfully ported to a console, its fate still up in the air

                               
Blizzard has successfully ported Diablo III to a console version, although don’t expect to go pick up a copy for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 anytime soon. The port remains an unofficial project at this point, according to Blizzard executive Rob Pardo, and it’s still unclear if the design team wants to bring the game to your living room.
